Technical Services Representative

Are you an enthusiastic, customer-focused, technical professional? Are you looking for a position with excitement and variety, while becoming an expert in the best engineering software tools in the world? Due to our consistent success in high-tech software sales, we are expanding our team of Technical Support professionals at NexGenCAM.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • The Technical Support Specialist provides “best in class”, real-time telephone technical support for NexGenCAM customers
  • Exceeds service level objectives (i.e. response time, trouble resolution, follow up, etc.)
  • Updates and maintains current customer support database
  • Provides data on trends during service calls
  • Contributes to the creation of whitepapers, blogs and videos for marketing and informational use

    Desired Skills and Experience:
  • One plus years’ experience using 3D CAD software necessary, SolidWorks/Inventor preferred
  • Prior experience in a software help desk environment preferred
  • Thorough understanding of computer systems
  • Disciplined approach to customer follow-up
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and online applications
  • 2 or 4 year CNC, Mechanical Design, IT, or Engineering related degree, or equivalent professional experience preferred

Business Development Representative

High tech engineering software and staffing company looking for someone to build the pipeline, set meetings, and manage marketing activities. Will be targeting small and medium sized manufacturing companies primarily around the Midwest, and pitching software and staffing services focused on CNC machinists, programmers, engineers, designers, and manufacturing management. Will provide excellent sales training.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales of NexGenCAM products, primarily CAM and Robotics software as well as training and services
  • Conduct aggressive prospecting and lead generation via phone as well as enjoying the opportunity for local face to face visits.
  • Manage sales funnel to consistently exceed assigned sales objective.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed monthly forecasts
  • Work with Pre-sales Engineers and other technical staff to schedule and coordinate demonstrations and events.

    Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Ideally this position is meant for someone with a great personality and phone voice that is looking to gain valuable sales training and experience while working remotely. Also could be a fit for someone who is in a career transition. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, hardworking, enthusiastic individual.

    Compensation/Time:

The Inside Sales Rep (ISR) effectively uses both consultative and transactional approaches to sell solutions to NexGenCAM prospective customers within his/her assigned territory. The ISR is responsible for execution of all facets of the sales cycle including, cold-calling/prospecting, qualifying, and following up with prospects, assisting in preparing and giving presentations, and ensuring quality relationships with NexGenCAM customers.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales of NexGenCAM products, primarily CAM and Robotics software as well as training and services
