RS-232 Communication

HSMWorks includes a high-performance editor able to send, receive, and DNC (drip feed) files to your CNC machine.
RS-232 communications requires a COM port on your PC. The COM port is a 9-pin male connector usually on the back of the PC. Some newer computers do not ship with a COM port. In this case you may be able to use a USB to COM adapter but we have found there are only a few models of these that work for CNC communication. Ask and we can give you the make and model of these devices.
